We are interested in exploring the integration of IoT technologies in home automation settings. This includes all sorts of IoT devices, systems, and algorithms that provide information to home inhabitants, ranging from environmental, power, and energy figures to vision, AI and ML. The goal of this project is to create a home automation prototype by combining these technologies in a lab setting, centering the system around the open-source HomeAssistant platform. The project is part of the research activities of NESLab.
